My Projects
Welcome! These are some of the projects I worked on in my ECE classes at UCSD.

01
Line Following Robot
This is Cali: The Cat and the Hat, a line following robot. My teammates and I built this using an Arduino Mega board and an Adafruit Motor Shield. We also used LEDs and photoresistors for the robot to tell the difference between light and dark. Potentiometers were used to control the speed, P, I, and D coefficient values during different tests and races. In the drag race track, Cali finished in 15 seconds.

Cryptography
This is a programming assignment in ECE 15. I built some famous encryption/decryption algorithms like Substitution Cipher, Caesar Cipher, and Enigma Cipher using the concept of arrays, strings and passing array variables to functions in C language.

Battleship
This is also a programming assignment in ECE 15. I implemented the components of the game battleship using the concepts of structs and dynamic memory allocation in C language.
04
DC - DC Converters
For Power Electronics lab, I designed, built, and tested Buck Converter, Boost Converter, and Buck-Boost Converter according to the required specification. Simulation was also performed using PLECS.

06
Battery Charger with MPPT Algorithm
This project consists of current control block and voltage control block, which were adjusted using PI coefficient. MPPT algorithm, specifically Perturb and Observe, was implemented to achieve maximum power.

Wind Turbine System with MPPT Algorithm
This project consists of current control block and speed control block, which were adjusted using PI coefficient. MPPT algorithm, specifically Perturb and Observe, was implemented to achieve maximum power.
